As we celebrate International Coaching Week (ICW), we at InnerBloom Coaching want to emphasise the power of coaching as a strategy for improving wellbeing.

This year’s theme, “Explore Your Potential,” highlights the fact that coaching is all about unlocking human potential, both personally and professionally. This is a theme we hold close to our hearts here at InnerBloom Coaching as everything we do is about human development with a focus on the unlocking human potential.

At its core, coaching is a partnership between a coach and an individual or team, aimed at guiding them towards their full potential and helping them thrive.

Coaching is not a new phenomenon and much of the foundation of coaching goes back decades and even centuries. The pursuit of life improvement, personal development and exploring meaning dates as far back as the early Greek society. A famous quote by Socrates comes to mind, “The unexamined life is not worth living.”

The global pandemic has created a new wave of people wanting to live a fulfilling, good life; people want to utilise their strengths, skills, and talents; people want to be more positive and move away from negativity; people want meaningful relationships; people want careers or work that allows them to develop; and people want to make a positive difference in the world.

Coaching is not to be confused with mentoring, therapy, or counselling. Rather, it is a personalised, individualised approach that meets people where they are and empowers them to change and transform in a way that they want.

Coaching is fundamentally a partnership between the coach and an individual or a team to guide them on the journey to reach their full potential, and find the capacity to thrive within themselves.

Coaching is a powerful wellbeing strategy because it emphasises the individual as the designer and creator of their own life.

It encourages self-discovery and awareness, empowering people to choose outcomes that promote their growth and development towards a fulfilled life. At InnerBloom Coaching, we believe that individuals hold all the answers within themselves, and our role as coaches is to help them discover their own gifts, talents, and strengths.

Coaching can overcome gaps to improve wellbeing because it is highly adaptable to individual circumstances. It does not carry the stigma of clinical intervention, but instead builds awareness and empowers choice, leading to positive change.

As we celebrate International Coaching Week with the them of “Explore Your Potential,” we at InnerBloom Coaching want to highlight the power of coaching in unlocking human potential and promoting wellbeing.

We offer a range of uniquely curated coaching programs designed to support individuals and organisations. Our coaching approaches are highly personalised and adaptable to circumstances, helping individuals change and transform in the way they want.

Our Life-Design Coaching empowers individuals to unlock their unlimited potential and design the life they desire, while our Meditation Coaching approach focuses on unlocking inner intelligence to promote wellbeing.
